How to increase sales on your Magento store

Keep your home page simple. Offering fewer products with more focused messaging increases overall sales — it lets you answer visitors' questions about one or two products instead of overwhelming them with options.

Make your site load faster. Site speed is an organic ranking signal and directly affects indexation, traffic and rankings. Slow pages kill conversions, and performance on mobile matters even more. (Today this means Core Web Vitals — LCP, CLS, INP.)

Add videos to product pages. Adding video to top landing pages can lift conversions dramatically — visual information is processed far faster than text.

Create ways to capture email addresses. Email marketing still produces one of the best ROIs in digital marketing. Offer something of value — a guide or discount — in exchange for the address.

Build trust with testimonials. Social proof — testimonials, staff photos, case studies, accreditations — convinces visitors to choose you, especially when face-to-face contact is limited.

Incorporate upselling. Upselling is many times more effective than cross-selling online, yet stores implement it less often.

Install live chat. Live chat generates immediate responses, gets used more than contact forms, and doubles as an email-capture tool.

A/B test everything. Test call-to-action text, headlines on traffic-heavy landing pages, candid photos vs stock images, and shorter contact forms. Every store's customers are different — testing tells you what works for yours.
